WEEK THREE - BRIDGE
"I FELT TO I LOST"
"I FELT TO I LOST"

WEEK THREE … AWARENESS … Telling My Story – “I Felt” … to “I Lost”
This week we move from “I Felt” to “I Lost”. As we walk with Jesus He invites us to see ourselves and our losses clearly through His eyes, eyes filled with compassion and understanding. Consider His conversation, in John’s Gospel, with the woman at the well; He knew her inside and out and spoke in a positive way with her, like He does to us. We, like her, can easily have misperceptions of reality. To “protect” ourselves, we develop faulty thinking that drives our emotions and decisions in the wrong way. But the Holy Spirit inspires truth in us, helping us discern His voice from that of ours and the world. He designed us to have the inner core needs for safety, worth, belonging and significance. These needs, however, cannot usually be filled in the troubled world we are in, but rather can only be filled in a relationship with Him.
Crying out to Him ... Leads to Awareness ... which leads to Telling My Story ... which leads to Renewal of the Mind ... which leads to a Re-Write of what we believe about God, Ourselves and Others.
