Our world today is fickle: love and relationships can come and go, jobs change, friends change, where we live changes.  We are "up" one day and "down" the next.

So it is easy to assume God must be like us!

Only He isn't.  He is rock-solid; His personal love for each of us never wavers, never cools, never shuts down.   He is the one Unfailing point on our compass.
